About Neighbors Renting Stuff

The concept for Neighborsrentingstuff.com was inspired by my experience of raising a family of three and constantly needing to purchase tools or equipment for the house or yard only to use them once or twice.   I believe that many other individuals have also purchased items over the years which they only use rarely....household goods,  lawn and garden tools, sports equipment , etc.  These items sit in your garage or basement gathering dust.

Why not create a website where individuals could rent these items to others and earn income?

To make it more convenient for individuals to rent we have included a mapping feature which shows the relative distance to the individuals who own the items for rent.

For those of you who need specific work done but may be uncomfortable operating certain equipment we also encourage you to consider having the owner of the equipment complete the job for you for a pre-agreed fee. This fee would be negotiated between the owner and the rentor based upon the scope of the job.
